Where Real Estate Meets Real Connection
Some people find real estate. Others are raised in it. For Emma, real estate has been part of her story since childhood, tagging along on showings with her mom and soaking up the behind-the-scenes magic of helping people find their place. Those early memories stuck, and years later, they led her right back to where it all began.
When Emma started seriously considering real estate as a career, her mom pointed her toward a familiar face, Scott Varley. After sitting down with him and learning more about the culture and vision of The Scott Varley Team, Emma knew she’d found the right place to grow. And the rest, as they say, is history.
A Service-First Approach (Always)
Ask Emma what she loves most about real estate, and she won’t talk about contracts or closings first. She’ll talk about people.
For her, real estate is about being invited into some of the biggest moments in someone’s life: starting fresh, moving on, leveling up, or closing one chapter to begin another. Her approach is rooted in service and understanding, with a strong belief that it’s never just about the transaction. It’s about listening, caring, and guiding clients with empathy through what can be a very emotional process.
Clients often tell Emma how much they appreciate that she truly gets to know them, not just what they’re buying or selling, but why. That personal connection is what sets her apart and turns clients into long-term relationships.
Local Love: Saratoga, Glens Falls & Beyond
Living and working in the Capital Region gives Emma the best of all worlds, and she’s the first to say it. From the vibrant energy of downtown Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls to the easy access to outdoor escapes like Lake George and even Vermont, this region truly has it all.
When clients ask for local recommendations, Emma always delivers:
- In Saratoga, Putnam Market is her go-to—perfect for lunch, specialty groceries, or a great bottle of wine.
- In Glens Falls, you can’t go wrong with Radici, Park & Elm, or Grateful Den—all favorites for a memorable meal.
Helping Clients Reach the “Next Chapter”
Emma enjoys working on all sides of real estate, buyers, sellers, and everything in between, but she’s especially passionate about helping people reach their next chapter. That might mean assisting a growing family, helping someone move on from a home full of memories, or stepping in when a client’s first attempt didn’t quite work out.
One of her most rewarding recent experiences? Helping a family buy and sell simultaneously. Guiding them through both the end of one chapter and the start of another, seamlessly. Moments like that are why Emma shows up every day with purpose and heart.
Why Emma Loves Team Life
Real estate can be competitive, but Emma thrives in a collaborative environment. Being part of The Scott Varley Team means support, shared goals, and a culture that makes coming to work genuinely fun. She credits the team’s leadership, mentorship, and incredible behind-the-scenes support, from listing management to transaction coordination and marketing, for allowing her to give clients a smooth, stress-free experience every step of the way.
Beyond Real Estate: A Little More About Emma
When she’s not helping clients, Emma loves spending time with family and friends, checking out great restaurants, and hanging out with her beloved cat, Fishy.
Something that surprises a lot of people? Emma also runs her own pet care business on the side. A lifelong animal lover, she originally went to college as a biology major on a pre-veterinary track before switching to business and marketing, skills that now serve her well in real estate.
