Randal Hagen
Randal is the team’s Lead Commercial Specialist, using his financial and investment expertise to guide clients through commercial, multi-family, and business transactions.
As Lead Commercial Specialist for The Scott Varley Team, Randal Hagen plays a critical role in guiding clients through commercial transactions. With an extensive background in financial analysis, consulting, and investments, Randal understands the realities and dynamics of cash flow, profit-and-loss statements, and balance sheets. He crunches the numbers and projects returns for buyers, sellers, and lease-holders across all real estate classes, including commercial, multi-family rental, business, or mixed-use properties. Randal works with both personal buyers and institutional investors to help them achieve their financial and real estate goals.
Originally from Syracuse, Randal has called Saratoga Springs home since 2014. He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service, serving in both Active Duty and the Reserves. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from SUNY Empire State College and spent several years working in finance as an on-site retirement consultant for hospitals across the Capital District.
Randal is the proud father of two sons, Joseph and Thomas, and a loving husband to his wife, Katie. He enjoys coaching his sons, cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling with his family.
