BUYERS

The Art of Fulfilling Higher Expectations

The primary elements of any real estate agreement are the ability, desire, and willingness to purchase or sell. Whether this is your first home or your fifth, there is always something new to be learned in this ever changing market. We at the Scott Varley team make it our goal to provide you our years of experience in order to effectively reach your homeownership goals.

PaperworkThe Art of Preparation

Do you enjoy the faster pace of city life, or does the sleepy countryside make for a more comfortable fit? Is there anything lacking in your current situation that you would like in your new home? Is there an urgency to this purchase, or do you have unlimited time available? These are just a few of the many questions you need to ask yourself before you begin a serious search

Years of helping home buyers find their ideal situation have enabled us to create a series of questions that get you thinking about what you truly want and help us to narrow down your search to only those homes that will match you.

Have you looked at your credit report lately? Mistakes on your credit could mean the difference between being able to afford the home of your dreams, and settling for something in a lower price range. Helping you look at the transaction through a lender’s eyes is essential to being prepared.

These topics and many more will be discussed at our initial meeting together.

The Art of Clarity- Who Represents You?

Buying a home can be a very confusing experience if done improperly. You need to make sure that you have an agent who is working in your best interest.

As a buyer, The Varley Group is prepared to give you its undivided attention by providing you with an experienced team member known as a Buyer’s Agent, whose sole duty is to represent your best interests.

Our goal will always be to obtain the best price and terms for our clients, while maintaining fair and ethical standards of practice with all parties involved.

The Art of Evaluation- The Search for Your New Home

HomeAs you begin your search, remember that a home is more than just bedrooms and bathrooms. Several properties with seemingly similar attributes, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2000 square feet, etc. can have night and day differences when you look closer. You need to evaluate the neighborhoods, tax amounts, commute distances, schools, and so much more!

The Scott Varley Team can help you navigate through all of your questions and concerns to find the neighborhood and home that you want at a price you can afford.

The Art of the Deal- Offers and Counteroffers

When a home is placed on the market, essentially the Seller is making an “Offer” to the general public to purchase their home. You have three choices in response to this offer: Accept it and write up an offer, reject the Seller’s offer altogether, or suggest different terms or “Counter offer”. If you choose to counter offer, the Seller may accept or change the terms again and make a new offer in response.

When a transaction has reached this point, you have arrived at the heart of the matter. At no other point in the road to purchasing and selling a home is the need for experienced Realtor representation more imperative. The Scott Varley Team, with its years of negotiating experience, can effectively guide you through this complex and very personal bargaining process with the Seller.

Closing the dealNo matter what, the Scott Varley Team will help you make an informed decision- one that is right for you and your family.

The Art of the Close-It’s in the Details

Once you settle upon terms and price with the Seller, we will work with your attorney and lender to complete the sale. We will help to facilitate the closing by insuring the timely flow of documents and information as needed.

Whether helping you to understand the necessary financial preparations, communicating with your attorney or lender, or guiding you through the final walk through of your new home, The Scott Varley Team can help move you closer to your dream by being ready, willing, and able.
